Pixie Cottage #47 paper piecing, and others

Ecco la nuova sfida di The Pixie Cottage: il paper piecing! Come sempre potete scegliere se seguire lo sketch, che vedete di seguito, o il tema, o anche entrambi! =)

here is the new challenge at The Pixie Cottage: paper piecing! As uaual you can choose to follow thw sketch, the theme or both! =)

Io ho scelto di seguire il tema e alterare questa targhetta, che mi è stata ordinata per una cartoleria che si chiamoa "Il Paiolo Magico", che ha aperto da pochi giorni.

I followed the theme, and altered this door hanger I have been asked for, for a new shop called "The Magic Pot"!

Ho "vestito" la streghina di blu e argento! =) I decori floreali li ho timbrati con del versamark prima e con del brilliance platinum poi, é un timbro hero arts. IL timbro ovviamente è Pixie Cottage, e lo potete trovare qui, la strega ha in mano una scopetta in realtà ma io l'ho eliminata con una mascheratura, e gli ho applicato un paiolo che ho disegnato su del cartoncino nero, per essere in tema con il nome della cartoleria =)

I "dressed" the witch in blu and silver! = The flourish decoration is stamped twice: with versamark and with paltinum brilliance, and it is a Hero Art stamp. The witch is of course Pixie Cottage, you can find it here,  she's actually holding a broom, but I removed it by masking, and put a pot, as the name of the shop! =)

La targhetta servirà per comunicare gli orari di apertura, è doubleface... da due messaggi diversi: da questa parte dice benvenuti come vedete! Le scritte le ho realizzate stampando le lettere col computer e posizionandole sulla carta bianca...

This door hanger is to show the opening time, and it is doubleface, with 2 differents message on the two sides: in this side it says "welcome" I printed the letters with the computer...

Questo è l'altro lato, la carta di fondo è timbrata esattamente come il vestito della streghetta, e la scritta dice torno subito! =) da esporre per le brevi assenze! =) I foglio degli orari in entrambi i lati sono amovibili, per essere cambiati con facilità durante l'anno, in caso di variazioni! =)

This is the other side instead, stamped as the witch dress, and here I wrote "I'm coming back" for the short asences from the shop! =) The opening time are both printed on a removable sheet to make it easier to cahnge it during the year! =)

Workshop con Camilla

Buongiorno amiche!!!

Udite udite: sabato ho partecipato al workshop di Camilla, organizzato da Barbara! E' stato davvero bello, una piacevolissima giornata all'insegna dello scrap, e delle chiacchere! =)

I have a new, saturday I partecipated t the Camilla's workshop organised from Barbara! It was so great, a very nie day spent scrapping and chatting with lovely people! =)

Noi siamo arrivate per prime, abbiamo preso il primo aereo la mattina (...che levataccia! =) ) però abbiamo avuto il piacere di fare colazione con Camilla e Barbara, la mamma di Barbara ha portato i cornetti, e ci ha preparato un ottimo caffè! =) 

Poi quando sono arrivate tutte abbiamo cominciato a lavorare...

We were the first at Barbara place, we took the first flight in the morning, and we had breakfast with Camilla and Barbara at her place, her mum was so king to bring croissant and coffee for all of us! =)

then when all were there we started to work...

IL progetto era complesso, e articolato ma molto molto carino... Era un progetto che Camilla aveva pubblicato in un giornale magnolia circa un annetto fa.... è stato laborioso, ma come sempre abbiamo trovato la giusta organizzazione, e il lavoro di squadra ha funzionato come sempre! ;)

Come sempre è stato molto piacevole incontrare altre persone che condividono questa passione, questi incontri sono sempre degli interessanti momenti di scambio e confronto! =)

The project was a bit complicated, but very very pretty... it was a project Camilla already pubblished on a mganolia ink magazine time ago, a bit industrious to make, but as usual we did a team work, and everything has been done! =)

As usual has been so nice to spend a day with lovely people sharing my own passion and hobby!

E infine questo è il mio tesorino... =)  E' la bambolina che ho colorato, sotto la guida esperta di Camilla! =) Certo sono ben lontana dall'effetto che avrei voluto ottenere... ma con molto esercizio ce la farò! =)))

Quindi per concludere ancora un Grazie di cuore a Barbara, e alla sua mamma per aver organizzato tutto ciò, averci ospitate, coccolate e viziate con tante cose buone! =) Ed un grazie anche a Camilla che con pazienza e dedizione ci ha mostrato come realizzare il progetto e ci ha mostrato la sua colorazione! =))

spero ci siano presto altre occasioni.... ed un grazie alle mie solite compagne di "viaggi scrap" che come sempre mi hanno fatto ridere e divertire, ed hanno reso speciale questa giornata! =)))

Il mio lavoro non è stato ultimato, ma oggi ieri sono andata avanti, e vi prometto che entro l'inizio dell'avvento ve lo mostrerò finito!

And finally this is my little treasure, the stamp I coloured with Camilla's lead! =) I am so far away from the result I hoped to have, but with a lot of exercise I'll get to it! =)

To finish again a big thanks from the deep of my heart to barbara and her mum, to have organised all that, and for hostiong all of us at her place, and a big thanks to Camilla as well that helped us to built our own project, and teached us her way to colour....

I hope there will be more occasions... and a big thanks to my "scrap travel" partner, who make me laugh and have fun, and who made this day special and funny!

My project is not finished yet, but today I went on with it, and I promise you I'll finish it and show it before of the advent's begin!

Card per matrimonio, e challenge timbroscrapmania...

oggi vi mostro una card che ho preparato qualche tempo fa, mi è stata chiesta per un matrimonio... era da un pò che volevo realizzare una card/sheker box, e ho colto l'occasione al volo! =)

Today I show you a card I made some time ago, for a wedding, I've been asked for it, and since it was long time I wanted to make a card shker box, I thought it was the perfect occasion! =)

Gli sposini sono Sugar Nellie, mi piacciono un sacco questi 2 sposini che camminano presi per mano! =)

The bridal couple is a Suga Nellie stamp, I love the two kids walking away holding each other hand! =)

Questa è una visione della shaker box... avrei voluto metterci dentro il riso, ma il biadesivo spessorato non era abbastanza alto, e il riso quindi non si muoveva con agilità... quindi ho ripiegato sulle miscrosfere...

Here you can see the shaker box... I wanted to put rice inside it, but it was too thick for the 3D foam I used to build the shaker box, and it coludn't shake... So I hade to use the microsphere...

Ho scelto un layout molto semplice, un pò perchè con la shaker box era già abbastanza ricca e un pò perchè queste carte della K&Company sono già bellissime da sole... E poi comunque ho creato una sorta di cornicetta con fiori e farfalle, infatti con questa card partecipo al challenge di Timbroscrapmania, che come tema ha appunto "lilla e farfalle"!

I used a very simple layout, cause it was enough rich already, and aslo cause the paper is so nice that was not necessary to do much, the paper is K&Company... Then I mad this kind of frame with flowers and butterflies, and with it I enter the Timbroscrapmania challenge which has "lilac and butterflies" as theme!

Infine questa è la card aperta, l'interno... mi è stata chiesta per regalare dei soldi ad una coppia di sposini, quindi ho realizzato una card "porta soldi", con una taschina al suo interno, per ospitare sia gli auguri, che il regalo in se...

Finally this is the inner side... it is a money holder card!

The Pixie Cottage #46, Let It Snow

oggi è nuovamente mercoledì, tempo di una nuova sfida da The Pixie Cottage, come sempre avete a disposizione uno sketch da seguire, ed un tema, a voi òla scelta tra i due, o se seguire entrambi.... Il tema è "let it snow" qualsiasi cosa quindi che abbia a che fare con la neve va bene! =)

Today is againd wednesday, again time of a new challenge at The Pixie Cottage... as usual you can follow the sketch, or a theme, or both... this week the theme is "Let It Snow", so everything has to do with snow is fine! =)

Io ho usato questo dolcissimo timbro Pixie Cottage, che secondo me mette un sacco allegria! =) l'hi colorato con i distress... Lo trovate qui...

I used this cute stamp from The Pixie Cottage, I find it so nice, and it brings joy! =) I coloured it with distress... you can find it here...

...e poi l'ho applicato con del biadesivo spessorato una carta magnolia con la neve appunto... per dargli un pò di risalto! Ho timbrato anche la carta magnolia, e ripassato i tratti della neve con del glitter bianco...

...I stamped it also in the background paper, which is magnolia, and underlined the snow lines with white stickles, then applied the bear with some 3D foam...

Buon natale l'ho timbrato con il versamark ed embossato...

I stamped the sentiment with versamark and embossed it...

Ed un'ultima visone d'insieme... Le carte sono in parte kaisercraft, in parte magnolia e in parte timbrate da me!

...e con un anno di ritardo....

Buongiorno amiche!

Oggi finalmente ho deciso di mostrarvi questo lavoro... dico finalmente perchè ormai siamo allo scadere di un anno di ritardo, visto che questo mini album contenente alcune foto del nostro viaggio di nozze mio marito lo ha trovato sotto l'albero l'anno scorso.... =)) ...per un motivo o per l'altro non avevo ancora trovato il tempo ed il coraggio di mostrarvelo, un pò perchè le tante foto richiedevano tempo per essere caricate e riordinate e un pò perchè essendo il mio primo "lavoro-one" me lo sono coccolato gelosamente! =))) Certo farvelo vedere adesso, alla luce che di tutto ciò che ho imaparato a formazione creativa non è il massimo... ma a me piace comunque, perchè ci sono particolarmente affezionata! ;)

Today I finally decided to show you this little book.. I say finally cause it was last year christmas present for my lovely husband! They are oure honey moon pictures! =) Foe several reasons I didn't post it yet, also cause the pictures are so many that has been quite long to adjust them! =)

After all I learned at "formazione creativa" it's almost a shame to show it to you, but I still like it, it make me thinking of those wonderful days....

In the last page a made a kind of tag, with an hidden letter to my lovely Carlo, to say him How special and imposrtant he is in my life, and how much I love him! =)

questo è l'album visto dall'alto, il che forse vi da un'idea di come sia strutturato.... Il tutorial di questo album lo avevo trovato in uno dei link di Nicoletta... non ricordo neanche pià esattamente quale, ma se vi interessa andate a spulciarvi i suoi link, il suo blog è sempre fonte inesauribile di ispirazione! =))

E' stato un lavoro enorme e impegnativo, per tanti motivi, un pò perchè ancora non avevo granchè materiale... poi non ero molto pratica... e sopratutto non avevo tempo, visto che l'anno scorso come sapete non ho passato affatto un bell'anno, e lavoravo a questo progetto solo quando carlo non era nei paraggi o in procinto di rientrare!!! =)) Ma la soddisfazione che mi ha dato vedere la sua faccia quando lo ha visto mi ha ripagato di tutte le fatiche! =) le sue prime parole dopo essersi ripreso e aver smesso di dire che era fantastico sono state: "Amore ma qui ci sono ore di lavoro... quando lo hai fatto????" =))) Non c'è che dire i mariti delle creative sono sempre un pò speciali!!! ;)))

It has been a huge work for me, cause I didn't have yest much supplies, and I was not that practice as weel... and most of all I didn't have time, cause as some of you know, last year I had a terrible year, I was worked at this project only when Carlo was not at home, and when I was sure he was not coming back! =) But his face when he got it repaid me of all the troubles! He was very surprised and moved, and he said "here there are so many hors of work... when did you worked on it???" ...I ahve to say the creative's husband are always a bit special, don't you agree??? =))

Card per Laurea... Degree card

oggi un posto velocissimo, giusto per mostrarvi al volo una card fatta altrettanto al volo! =) L'ho realizzata su richiesta di mia cognata, per una laurea...

Today just a very quick post to show you a very quickly made card! =) I've been asked for it by my sister in law, for a degree cerimony...

Il timbro è Leere Aldrich, colorato con i distress... intorno ho disegnato questa finta cucitura... è da molto che non tiro fuori la macchina da cucire, quella vera... devo porre rimedio, quindi aspettatevi delle card tutte cucite!! =))))

... adesso è ora di scappare a lavoro, in questi giorni sono un pochino latitante, e faccio fatica ed aggiornare regolarmente il blog, è iniziato il nostro corso speleologico, che mi impegna parecchio come ogni anno, e la frenesia prenatalizia inizia a farsi sentire... ma nonostante ciò nei piccoli ritagli di tempo continuo a creare e a far lavorare mani e fantasia, quindi ho diverse cosine in serbo da mostrarvi....

This is a Leere Aldrich stam, I coloured it with distress... all around a I drew a false sewn... it's a while I don't use my real machine. I've to recuperate the lost time, so I'l make a lot of sewn card next days!!! =)))

Now I've to run working... in this period I am a bit absent, I can hardly update my blog, we are leading the caving course, and it takes me a lot of time as each year, and the pre-Christmas frenzy already started... but anyway in the little spare time I find I'm still creating and making my hands and fantasy working, so I have a few little things to show you during next days...

The Pixe Cottage 2 colours sketch

eccoci dinuovo al mercoledì, giorno di una nuova sfida da Pixie Cottage, e oggi vi proponiamo uno sketch, semplice e carino, e come tema "solo 2 colori"... e questa è la mia interpretazione... spero vi piaccia e ispiri almeno un pò! =)

Visto la "ricchezza" del timbro, ho lasciato la card nel complesso il più semplice possibile...

Here we are again on wednesday, time of a new chalenge at The Pixie Cottage, and we have a new sketch to follow, for you, and a nice theme "only 2 colours"... this is my interpretation, I hope to inspire you a little! =) Since the stamp was itself so "rich" I made a very simple card....

La carta che ho usato è magnolia, e il timbro Pixie Cottage, lo trovate qui... non appena ho ricevuto il pacchetto di Michelle, e ho visto i timbri sono subito rimasta colpita da questa rosa che trovo meravigliosa, ma che mi sembrava troppo difficile da colorare... e molto lontana dal mio stile, ma siccome mi stuzzicava molto l'idea di mettermi alla prova non ho resistito alla tentazione e ci ho provato... e voilà il risultato...

Il sentiment è un timbro di un set Hippity stamp!

I used a magnolia paper, and the stamp is Pixie Cottage of course, you can find it here, as soo as I saw it, when I got the stamps, I like it so much, but I thought it was a way too difficult... but I couldn't hold out to challenge myself with it... and I tryed... here is the result...
