4th birthday

buongiorno bella gente bentrovate... che mi dite di bello?

Qui arranchiamo tra i colpi di coda dell'inverno e le prime belle giornate, la voglia di uscire e stare all'aperto si fa sentire... e pian piano scivolo verso i preparativi della festa delle stelline... e così ora che mancano 2 mesi tondi tondi ai 5 anni mi sembra il momento giusto di ostrarvi tutte le cosine che avevo preparato per la loro festa dei 4 anni (per la serie meglio tardi che mai!!!!)

here days are getting longer finally, spring is slowly showing up around the corner, and we feel like staying outside and play... and I am starting to think to the 5th birthday.... so now it is arriving the fifth party, I guess is the right moment to show you what I made last year... 

ma partiamo dall'inizio, dal tema della festa, e dagli inviti che ho realizzato.... il tema era "trilly e Capitan Uncino" mi ero tanto impegnata per far scegliere all'ometto Peter Pan, ma niente lui voleva capitan Uncino... è così è stato!!!

let's start from the beginning, from the theme and the invitation I made... the theme was "capitain Hook, and TRilly" I tried my best to make Nicola choosing peter pan instead, but He preferred Capitain Hook... and that was!

  

questi erano gli inviti che ho realizzato in stile pergamena, chiusi con lo spago e con una piuma colorata... li avevo lasciati a tutti i comagnetti ed Eli e Nico erano troppo felici di darli....

There were the invitations I made, closed as a parchment map, with a colored feather, and the natural string. Elisa and Nico were so happy to give them to the friends!

visto il tema diversificato e sopratutto vista la necessità di separare fisicamente onde evitare contaminazioni, il tavolo dediccato ad Eli da quello di nico abbiamo fatto un tavolo piratesco ed uno di fatine... partiamo da capitan Uncino... cosa mi dite del meraviglioso veliero realizzato dalla mitica Raffa??? non è fantastico?

AS we had 2 branches of the same theme, and since I have to make 2 different tables to avoid any risck of contamination for Elisa, I made a captain hook table, and a trilly one, and below the pics... have a look of the fantastic sailing ship Ragga made... isn't she amazing????

e poi il tavolo di trilli, la celiachinadi casa, nei toni del verde e lilla, ovviamente totalmente gluten free...

altra opera d'arte di Raffa... bellissimo mini veliero (non tanto mini in realtà) per contenere le bustine di caramelle che Elisa e Nicola hanno regalato ai compagnetti a scuola, e alla fine dell festa.

Another piece of art by Raffa is the little sailing ship on the table (not so little actually) to contain all the little treat I made to give at school and at the end of the party...

la mia fatina ed il mio piccolo pirata erano al settimo cielo, e cosa può rendere più felice una mamma del vedere felici i propri piccolini?

My little Trilly fairy, and my little captain hook were so happy... and what can make happier a mom than seeing her babies happy???

avevo fatto anche io anche la torta, totalmente gluten free anche quella, ma mi credete se vi dico che non ho foto decenti della torta?? neanche di noi 4 in realtà....

I also made the cake, obliviously gluten free, but I do not have nice pics of the cake, and actually not even of the 4 of us... next year I have to pay more attention of these details...

ed eccole le bustine di caramelle, avevo usato dei jelly beans, in quanto sono senza glutine, e ho decorato queste deliziose bustine di caramelle comprate al volo in aereoporto! =) non sono deliziose?

and here are the treats I made, decorating some jelly beans little bag (which are gluten free), I bought the bags in airport... aren't they so nice???

è stata davvero una bella festa, ed ora navighiamo a vista alla volta dei 5... curiose del tema???? a me piace un sacco... per cui se siete curiose stay tuned potrei svelare qualche piccola anteprima!!! ...e giuro sollennemente di non lasciar passare un altro anno prima di farvi vedere tutte le cosine che già stiamo preparando!!!!

Prima di lasciarvi devo rivolgere un grazie speciale, ma davvero speciale alla mia amica meravigliosa, zia magnifica e creativa coi fiocchi Raffaela, perchè senza di lei le nostre feste non sarebbero le stesse... GRAZIE AMICA!!!!!

it was a nice party, full of happy kids... and now we sail for  the 5 years party... are you curious of the theme??? stay tuned then, maybe I'll give you some sneak peak... I promise I'll not wait one year again to show you, anyway I like so much the theme they have chosen so I am so happy to work on it! =)

buon terzo compleanno stelline

come sapete le mie stelline hanno compiuto 3 anni... e oggi vi mostro tutti i dettagli della festa che ho organizzato per loro... si lo so che non ci credete, e che stranamente la festa era solo la settimana scorsa, e non sto facendo passare un paio di mesi, ma sfrutto questo pomeriggio di calma per mostrarvi tutto! =)

as you probably know, my little sweeties get 3 years old, and here are all the details of the party I organized for them,

il tema era come alcune di voi avranno sicuramente intuito "minnie e topolino", ed io e la mitica carissima Raffa abbiamo lavorato febbrilmente per un aio di settimane... ma il sorriso dei bimbi ci ha ripagato di tutto! =)

 the theme was Mickey and Minnie mouse! =) And strange to say it was just a few days ago, not few months!!! Me and my lovely friend Raffa worked a lot to prepare, but the babies happiness was a great prize!

 Benvenuti virtualmente a tutti voi... la festa l'ho fatta in una sala a Quartucciu, molto vicino a casa, ed ora ecco a voi tutti gli allestimenti

welcome o the party! =) the party was in room quite close to my home.

Il banner con i nomi, ovviamente tutto in tema... la carta che ho usato e la simple stories "magical adventures" ch adoro e che era li ad spettare l'occasione giusta per essere usata... e direi che questa era l'occasione perfetta! =D

the banner, with the names all combined, i used the simple stories paper "magical Adventure"I really love it, and I had it since long time, and I was waiting the right occasion to use it, and this was the perfect one! =)

tutto ovviamente era abbinato al tema, dalle bottigliette alle decorazioni del buffet... la tovaglia i tovaglioli... il catering l'ho affidato ad una bravissima ragazza e devo dire che sebbene io non sia riuscita ad assaggiare granche ho avuto feedback molto positivi... (io ho fatto solo parte dei dolci)

di sotto invece i pensierini che ho realizzato da regalare ai bimbi che hanno festeggiato con noi... un pensierino dolce e colorato che è stato assai gradito dai bimbi...

E' stato un bel pomeriggio... in compagnia di tanti amici, di persone che ci vogliono bene, di risate e allegria, e c'è stata anche una bellissima sorpresa per i miei amori (Giorgia grazieeeee)

has been a lovely happy afternoon, and I want to say thanks one more to all the friends came to visita, and sent us a thought, a present or a few wards... and thanks you friend for the lovely minnie surprise! =)

a big thanks to all of you... who came and who did not, but sent us a thought, thanks you to my hubby who always help and give his love, a special thanks to my super friend raffa, without who the all party would have not been the same, and to my friend for the Minnie surprise... but most of all thanks to my sweeties, because the make out of each day of my life a party day! =)

Prima Comunione, terza e ultima parte!

Buongiorno amiche...

come state? anche voi boccheggianti per il caldo? qui si muore... il che va benissimo sino a che si può andare al mare... meno se come oggi si resta incastrati in città per via di varie commissioni... ad ogni modo, commissione per commissione, ne approfitto anche come preannunciato per mollarvi l'ultimo post dedicato alla Comunione del mio bellissimo nipote! =)

Good morning friends....

how are you? are you also gasping for the heat as me?? Here is so hot... which is fine as long as you can go to the beach, but that's a bit annoying when you have to get stuck in the tow to make some boring stuff... any way I get the chance to show you my last post about my lovely nephew First Communion, as i promised you...

Per intrattenere e divertire i bambini la mi dolce cognata ha pensato a dei segnaposto speciali per loro... li voleva fare lei in realtà... ma poi io mi sono messa in mezzo, e visto che avevo finito col resto li ho fatti io pure quelli! =) Ma sotto le sue direttive!!! =D

To entertain and let the children play my sister in law thought about these lovely placeholder made especially for them, she wanted to make them by herself, but since i was done with the favor box ecc, I proposed to make them! =)

Davano proprio un bel tocco di colore in tavola... e sono stati assai graditi...

they gave a nice touch of color to the table, and have been really appreciated by the children...

ma non solo! come vedete sono state apprezzate anche dalle bambine più grandi! =)

...but not only as you can see from this picture! =)

...e poi ecco le forchettine... forchettine in legno totalmente eco-sostenibili, decorate e confezionate nel tovagliolino di carta... anche qui ovviamente stesse carte e colori di tutto il resto...

and finally the forks... wood forks totally eco friendly, decorated and wrapped with the paper napkins, all coordinated! =) 

Devo dire che tutte assieme facevano una certa figura! =) ...le abbiamo servite assieme alla torta, rigorosamente home made anche quella, fatta dalla mia cogny!!! =)

I have to say all together they were really nice to see! =) WE served them with the cake, which was as weel home made, by my sister in law! =)
